TEEG has been working to meet the needs of low-income individuals and families since its inception in 1988. Over the past 38 years, our agency has continued to develop innovative programming to meet the unique needs of the families we serve in northeast Connecticut. As TEEG continues to grow, it has established itself as a vital resource to our community, offering several basic needs programs, including emergency and ongoing food assistance, heating assistance, state and federal benefits assistance, holiday programs (Thanksgiving and Christmas), homelessness support, summer camp scholarships, and client care coordination.
