About the event
SMART Recovery is an evidence-based recovery program that helps individuals build and maintain a healthy, balanced life free from addictive behaviors. Unlike traditional 12-step programs, SMART Recovery is self-empowering and focuses on practical tools grounded in science and research.
The program supports individuals dealing with substance use and other addictive behaviors by teaching skills that strengthen motivation, manage cravings, regulate emotions, and improve problem-solving. This program also offers resources for family members and friends who are supporting a loved one in recovery.
