Strengthening Connections and Understanding, One Program at a Time
The TEEG Focus on Family program is a community-based, informational topic series for parents, caregivers, professionals and community members. Topics discussed during these sessions give participants the tools they need to be the most effective parents they can be, and to be effective members of our local community.
Topics of Discussion include:
- Opiate Issues in Our Community
- Special Education in our Schools
- Youth and Social Media
- Family Friendly Healthy Cooking
- Household Budgeting
- Home and Health
Focus on Family is designed to help the community work together to raise awareness, share feedback and problem solve. This program is open to all residents of Northeast Connecticut regardless of income.
Sessions are held monthly at the TEEG building, 15 Thatcher Rd., North Grosvenordale, CT, on Wednesday evenings from 5:00-6:30 pm. A FREE meal will be provided. TEEG staff encourages everyone to come for the food and stay for the conversation.
