A resource for individuals who grew up in dysfunctional homes
Every Wednesday from 10:00am-12:00pm at TEEG, 15 Thatcher Rd., North Grosvenordale, CT
In an effort to support recovery and success for all individuals who have experienced a dysfunctional home, TEEG is proud to serve as an Adult Children of Alcoholics/Dysfunctional Families (ACA) host site.
ACA meetings provide an opportunity for participants to share their experiences of growing up in an environment where abuse, neglect and trauma infected them. It is a safe, nonjudgmental environment that allows you to grieve your childhood and conduct an honest inventory of yourself and your family. It provides the opportunity to express all the truths and fears you may have kept inside and free yourself from shame and blame.
At TEEG, awareness is our first priority. We are reaching out to the community through ACA to lend a hand to those who may be struggling from growing up in a dysfunctional home and the hardships it causes.
The Adult Children of Alcoholics/Dysfunctional Families program at TEEG is open to all individuals; those who feel they may have a problem and have a desire to take back control of their life.
Group size is unlimited. However, the average group size ranges from 5 to 10 people per week.
