The TEEG Homelessness Charette
Homelessness is a big and complex issue in our corner of the state. Shelter space is a challenge, permanent housing for those who are homeless is hard to obtain, and requirements to access state programs are confusing.
While solutions take many approaches, joining forces is a step in the right direction. This past March a group of concerned individuals representing many local agencies came together to form the TEEG Homelessness Charrette.
A charrette is a meeting in which all stakeholders attempt to resolve conflicts and map solutions, very much like the group that formed TEEG 31 years ago. The group serves to educate, inform and provide solutions to the unique issue of homelessness in our area of the state.
