Be a TEEG Volunteer!

If community spirit is the heart of TEEG, then volunteerism is our soul.

Our agency was born through the spirit of volunteerism. We continue to serve thousands more than our staff could ever reach because of the countless volunteers who are always stepping up to lend a hand.

TEEG has been blessed with caring, generous individuals from Thompson and beyond who give freely of their time and talents to help us meet our mission. They come to distribute food to those less fortunate, prepare a holiday meal, mow a lawn, weed a garden, answer our phones, or file stacks of paperwork. We couldn’t do it without you!

There are many ways for people to be a TEEG volunteer:

  • Seniors looking to interact and participate with the community
  • Youth can learn new skills, gain experience and meet new people
  • People needing to put in community service hours to meet court mandates
    or other requirements

For all of you who help to plant the seeds of success, your many hands have made it lightwork. We at TEEG and those we serve are forever grateful.

TEEG is a resource that unites the entire community in providing needs-based services to low-income families as well as enrichment programs for all.
