Thompson , CT – June 2005:
TEEG and MAD Communications received a Gold Mercury Award from the Public Relations
Society of America Connecticut Valley Chapter (PRSA-CVC) for it’s work on behalf
of the Thompson Ecumenical Empowerment Group (TEEG). The award was presented for
creative and strategic excellence in executing the TEEG 2004 Annual Campaign.
The campaign included an annual report that presented six individual stories of
people who demonstrated the value of TEEG through touching, poignant vignettes and
personal quotes. Each story was illustrated through a portrait photo of the person
being highlighted. Other elements of the campaign including the launching of a web
site for TEEG, print and radio advertising, radio public service announcements, and
speaking engagements.
“With the theme, The Power of One, the campaign was a tribute to
those who are selflessly committed and motivated to improve their lives and the lives
of those around them, which is the essence of what TEEG is all about,” said
Donna Grant, TEEG Executive Director. “Throughout all elements of the campaign,
this theme was reinforced in ways to demonstrate the difference one person, one volunteer,
one sponsor, one community can make in the lives of many.” |
