Food Distribution
TEEG’s Food Security program empowers families and individuals to stretch their
monthly budget by giving them healthy food to supplement their home pantries.
For individuals faced with the making the choice between buying food or paying bills,
the TEEG food security program literally puts food on the table. Additionally, we offer
nutrition and health education information with every distribution, enabling us to feed
both the bodies and the minds of those accessing our services.
This program is supported by the Connecticut
Food Bank, local churches, businesses, and
schools, as well as the generosity of our neighbors in Northeastern Connecticut.
