2011 EventNeighbors Helping Neighbors in Tough Economic Times
Valentine’s Day has become a very special occasion at TEEG, it is the last day of our annual Be An Angel campaign which culminates with our Have a Heart silent auction. Our silent auction is made possible by the donations of hundreds of area businesses and community members. Donated items range from gift certificates to original artwork. In addition, the event is supported through generous corporate sponsorship of many local businesses.
More than 200 people came out to attend our gala fundraiser at the Thompson Raceway Restaurant on February 11, 2011. The event included more than 200 donated items and raised more than $30,000 to support TEEG programs. Our thanks go out to everyone who made this annual event the most successful ever. Special thanks to our generous donors and sponsors, and to Tom Poplawski, the 2011 TEEG Ambassador.
